Lee Jesberger - inventor of the Ezee-Feed Infeed-Outfeed law

Lee Jesberger is a normal contractor. For most folks, 30 years of running a normal Contracting business is sufficient but obviously this man needs no sleep. In increasing to his contracting business, he is a devotee woodworker, writer, webmaster, teacher and inventor of the Ezee-Feed Infeed/Outfeed System.

Lee runs a contracting business that specializes in high-end renovations in Sewell, New Jersey, with his partner in crime, Bruce Driscoll. This dynamic duo is the Batman and Robin of the fine furniture/cabinet making world. I have posted a few of their projects below but you should truly view more at their website.

Planers Woodworking Tools

Lee's typical day begins at the job-site where he calls himself a cabinet/furniture maker. This is an understatement. What he creates are works of art.

He then comes home and works in his backyard shop. Not a easy shed, this "man shack" has(almost), all the pro toys the boy wonder could want. Later into his night, he writes instructional articles and posts projects on his website. Sometime later, perhaps after a midnight coffee break, he works on his side business: The Ezee-Feed Infeed Outfeed System.

The Ezee-Feed Infeed/Outfeed principles was created as a effect of a need on a large renovation project. Tired of the problems created when using a Roller Stand, Lee created his own handy shop expedient that provides the same accuracy and ease of use as a sliding table saw But, at a fraction of the price. It is designed to enable one person to truly cut/rip sheet goods and rough lumber to measurements under 1/32 thick. This expedient reduces your physical exertion, while safely and accurately doubling your productivity. See the Ezee-Feed in action; go here now: http://www.ezee-feed.com.

Lee and Bruce embarked on a amount of Woodworking shows to promote the Ezee-Feed product. Two somewhat shy guys, posing as marketing professionals, they initially felt like bad used car salesmen. That is until folks began talking to them and realized that they were truly experienced, pro cabinet/furniture makers. Lee and Bruce began talking about their projects and jobs, and woodworkers began request them questions. The effect of those Woodworking Show inquisitions is the website http://www.prowoodworkingtips.com. This free resource for woodworkers is packed full of information like a glossary of woodworking terms, free woodworking plans and tips, and instructions for cabinet door construction. Lee also participates commonly on a woodworkers forum called http://www.lumberjocks.com.

What does Lee find the most satisfying? Working with the client to give them the final goods that they want. It's that "Wow" factor that inspires him to constantly improve his craft. He appreciates the beauty, grace and concern for proportion that 18th century American furniture makers adhered to. "And they concluded all of this with primitive tools compared to what we use now," says Lee. "Being a contractor is like being a conductor in an orchestra. You have to bring the entire project together within allocation and time constraints. It is often a frustrating job, especially if you end up working with population who aren't especially competent, but the end effect and the clients' delight are make it all worth while," says Lee.

Lee's List of Top Ten Tools:

1. Delta Unisaw

2. Jet cross cut table

3. Ezee-Feed Infeed/Outfeed System

4. 20" Powermatic planer

5. 18" Jet Bandsaw

6. Grass inline booring machine for adjustable shelving

7. Blum hinge machine - cuts three holes for European style hinges

8. Ashley Isles carving tools

9. Japanese wood chisels - far classic to Western chisels, laminated plates, staggering tools to work with, some are truly works of art.

10. Delta 8" Joiner

Power Tools For the expert or the Do it Yourself Enthusiast

Whatever your background or requirement power tools are used in practically every environment to improve productivity and regularly improve the quality of the work undertaken. When we refer to power tools we regularly refer to corded power tools or cordless power tools. There are any way a allinclusive range of pneumatic power tools which are great if you have compressed air available. Pneumatic tools lack the definite portability of electrically powered tools and are oftentimes confined to the workshop environment where the work comes to the tools rather than the tools going to the work

The electric drill was regarded by most as the first powered hand tool. The first electric drill was patented in Australia on 20th August 1889 an attributed to Arthur James Arnot. This first drill was primarily intended for heavy commercial use and was invented before most communities were even supplied with electricity. In 1917, Black and Decker introduced and patented the pistol grip and also the trigger switch well-known on most products available today. This was the basis of the modern electric drill and later models were soon shipped in thousands. 1961 saw the first battery powered drill and as technology improves and prices fall we are now in a position where the battery powered drills have taken over from the corded big brother.

Planers Woodworking Tools

The brief history just serves to construe the development of the drill and close on the heels of the drill were many other corded and cordless power tools. Mains powered devices control on a variety of voltages 120v in the Us and in Europe we control on two voltages. We have 220-240v powered tools regularly used in the home and for the less demanding applications whereas in the building arena health and security demands 110v units powered by 220-240v to 110v transformers. Battery powered tools use distinct battery types and control at distinct voltages. The power screwdriver is the least demanding of the electrically operated tools in the power toolbox and may be supplied with as wee as 3.6v batteries. The quality of the batteries has increased year by year as we have seen battery technology move moderately from 9.6v to 36v such that we now have tools supplied with batteries rated at 12v, 14.4v, 18v, 24v and 36v. Needless to say the 36v tools are much more high-priced than the 12v tools. The development in battery technology has been considerably more than just building larger battery packs. The most recent batteries are Lithium-ion or Li-Ion batteries which enable more battery power to be delivered and batteries can be speedily recharged.

With the arrival of these higher voltage batteries we now have a wider range of battery powered cordless tools. The cordless circular saw was not viable before the 18v or perhaps the 24v batteries became available. The Sds drill and demolition drill had always been corded until the most recent range of batteries mean there are now Sds and demolition cordless drills on the market operated on 36v power packs.

Woodworking powertools have always been popular both in the building manufactures and for Diy enthusiast. Increasingly the cordless power tools are being used in all areas of manufactures where just a few years ago the batteries would just not be man enough, or need recharging too oftentimes or just too expensive. We now have cordless jigsaws, Kango Drills and Breakers, Metal Cutting Saws, Percussion Drills, Reciprocating Saws, Sanders, Sds Drills, Wall Chasers, Band saws, routers, planers and other devotee powered tools.

What is it when your spouse calls you into the house 10 times before you finally stop your work and relinquish that last effort to make one more handcut dovetail before evening meal is ready? Is it some childlike joy that doesn't want to end, like when you were young and playing outside, and wouldn't listen to the call for meal time, until mom or dad got positively mad? positively yes, it is the same joy resurfacing in your adult life, that is a reminder of the innate spiritual essence of our human nature. And yes, it doesn't just manifest in woodworking, but can appear in almost all crafts.  Remember, spiritual practice hasn't anyone to do with religion, it is your consciousness returning to its customary state of always in vogue joy.

So understand, woodworking is much more than construction useful projects around the house, it is a way to turn that inner child into doing something useful, without all the whining. And ask yourself, what positively thrills children the most at their young age is studying simple crafts like woodworking, modeling with clay, painting, etc. Only now you as an adult have the ability to take the craft much further, and turn it into a specialist skill, where spirituality and consciousness come to be one.

You can visit and take a look at some photos of furniture that consolidate a new philosophy  of  using organic forms in place of the customary flat surfaces ordinarily found in furniture.

Woodworking And The Wood Lathe: Five Reasons That Woodworkers Can as a matter of fact Move Into Woodturning

Woodworkers can get into ruts but they also like to look for new challenges and opportunities to peruse their personal association with wood. Getting a wood lathe and studying to use it open up a new size in woodworking. While many of the talents learnt in flat woodworking carry over to the round world of woodturning, new talents in the craft need to be developed, prominent to new excitement in an old field.

First, while woodturners need extra tools other than a wood lathe and lathe tools, for many woodworkers this is a minor requirement. The other tools needed to get ready wood for the lathe are normally gift in the form of band saws and table saws which are tasteless for the woodworker's shop. Wood lathe tools need to be sharpened for use, but most woodworkers already have a tool polisher for the purpose of removing nicks from chisels and the like. This is of course transformed to lathe tool sharpener by replacing a polisher wheel with an inexpensive, aluminum oxide, fine grit wheel and production a sharpening jig.

Planers Woodworking Tools

Second, once the lathe is set up and ready and the tools sharpened, the examine is what to turn. For many woodworkers this at first becomes an postponement of flat woodworking. production table legs allows for more personel expression than buying preturned ones from a account or production them all straight lined from necessity. While there are many variations of cabinet knobs available in assorted materials, personal ones may be turned from wood, brass or plastics very of course on the wood lathe and many can be of course decorated. Small casework is of course decorated with escutcheons or finials.

Third, after the practise of turning parts for furniture and other casework, many woodworkers will move on to other types of woodturning. There are many ideas for wood turning projects available in magazines, books and the web. Many of these will already be in the possession of most woodworkers. Such projects range from candlesticks, tool handles and tea lights, to pens, bowls, vases and approximately anyone round. Some of these will need to glued up from any parts and once again the typical woodworker's abilities come into play with knowledge of jointing, clamping and gluing.

Fourth, an aspect that is sometimes overlooked as one contemplates woodworking in general is the acquiring of wood with which we work. For the majority of woodworkers this is a straightforward albeit expensive trip to the local lumber merchant. While this can also be of benefit to a woodturner, many prefer to start with a log section. This type of wood is commonly much cheaper to get than prepared lumber and is often free. A chainsaw may be required but many woodworkers will already own one, whether galvanic or gas powered.

Fifth and along the same lines is the examine that many woodworkers have as to what to do with all the pretty offcuts of wood that obtain in the home workshop? They are often too small to do anyone with but too nice to throw out. Woodturners often made small items that will use up many small pieces or they glue them together to make segmented turnings. The woodworker's workshop with its jointer and planer can make this much easier than it is for many wood turners who do not have these tools.

Thus the acquisition of a wood lathe can open a new world of woodworking to the flat woodworker. Many of the already practised skills move of course to the wood lathe and wood preparing while the tools of the workshop prove to be greatly useful in the new part of the woodworking craft. Woodworking is done for fun and adding this new size will add greatly to the wide enjoyment.
